    A network can be a company, a web site, a school, a club, a church, or whatever. It can be anything, as long as it has a domain name. We authenticate network memberships by email addresses.

    Suppose you wanted to join the vBuddy network. You would need an email address in the form of whatever@vbuddy.com in order to become a full member. This is great because it cuts out all the non-sense. When someone's profile says they are from vBuddy.com, you know for sure they are legit.
