Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited engages in underground coal mining, preparation and processing, sales, and railway transportation of coal. The company also owns the Austar Coal mine in New South Wales, Australia; methanol project, in Shaanxi Province; and Zhaolou Coal Mine and Wanfu Coal mines in Shandong Province, China. It also engages in the international trade, processing and matching, trimming, exhibiting, and storage in Qingdao Free Trade Zone; transportation via river and lakes within the provinces of Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. The company also engages in mining and sale of coal; investment in heat and electricity; manufacture and sale of mining machinery and engine products; the development of integrated coal technology; and exploration and sale of coal from Tianchi Coal Mine; production of methanol and other chemical products; and low sulphur coal used in power plants as steam coal.
