Guidant has merged with Boston Scientific, a worldwide developer, manufacturer, and marketer of medical devices that advance the practice of less-invasive medicine across a wide range of specialties. As a part of that merger, Guidant's vascular and endovascular businesses have been acquired by Abbott Vascular.
